Back-end Software Engineer Mid Level

At least 2 years of backend development experience with TypeScript and Go. Solid experience with AWS, microservices architectures, and event-driven systems (SNS, SQS, EventBridge). Design and build REST APIs securely, applying DDD principles, ideally with TypeScript frameworks like AdonisJS. Comfortable with relational databases, unit testing, and test-driven development. Work well in agile environments (Scrum, Sprints) and communicate in functional English. Live in Buenos Aires or nearby and can attend the office 2 days per week. You join a 13-person engineering team leading a year-long platform migration. You migrate features from a TypeScript monolith (AdonisJS) to a service-oriented architecture on AWS, working in sprints alongside the team. This is an execution role: you design, build, and solve concrete problems while maintaining code quality. What you'll own Migrate features from the monolithic platform to a service-oriented architecture on AWS. Design and build APIs and microservices using event-driven patterns (SNS, SQS, EventBridge). Deliver solutions sprint by sprint as the team prioritizes them. Participate in daily standups and weekly planning with the engineering team. Apply Domain Driven Design principles to build secure, reusable APIs.
