About Forward IQ
Forward IQ builds outbound systems for independent freight forwarders — cold email, LinkedIn, and content engines that replace "referrals and luck" with a real, predictable pipeline. We're founder-led, operator-built, and growing. The offer is proven, the case studies are real, and the systems already work.
We're now making our first key sales hire to take the sales motion off the founder's plate and own it end-to-end.
The Role
Today, the founder runs every sales call. This role takes that over you'll own the full sales motion, from the moment a lead comes in to the moment a deal is signed. You'll work directly with the founder and our GTM engineer, and as the company grows, so will the scope of this seat (more channels, eventually a team).
This is a founding seat. You're building the motion, not inheriting a script.
What You'll Own
The full sales cycle leads coming in from inbound, cold email, and content, all the way to signed deals
Discovery and closing calls with freight forwarder owners and decision-makers
Pipeline management, follow-up cadences, and CRM hygiene
Pitch, positioning, objection handling, and proposal-to-close
Feedback loop with the GTM engine what's converting, what isn't, what to test next
As we scale: additional channels and the eventual build-out of a sales team
Who You Are
You've owned a B2B sales motion before full cycle, not just one slice of it
You've closed consultatively, with deals where trust and fit mattered more than pressure (our buyers are operators, not impulse buyers)
Fully bilingual you'll sell in both English and Spanish across LATAM and beyond
You think like a builder: you're comfortable shaping process where none exists yet
Organized, self-directed, and accountable to your own numbers
Comfortable working on US business hours
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain
Background selling B2B services, agency offers, or outbound/GTM solutions
Familiarity with tools like Clay, Instantly, HubSpot, or similar GTM/CRM stacks
A track record of high-ticket closing
You do
not
need to come from freight. The founder handles the deep-industry conversations. You bring the ability to own a sales motion and close.
