Exterior Designer - Independent Contractor (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Exterior Designer on behalf of our client in the luxury residential construction industry. ⚠️ CONTRACTOR POSITION — This is an independent contractor (freelance) engagement, not a full-time employment relationship. Ideal for designers who work independently or run their own studio. ABOUT THE ROLE Design stunning exteriors for high-end single-family homes — fully remote, working alongside architects, builders, and engineers across the US. RESPONSIBILITIES • Design façades, color palettes, roofing systems, and exterior finishes • Develop lighting and landscaping concepts • Create photorealistic renderings and mood boards • Coordinate revisions with architects, engineers, and project teams • Prepare design packages, material specs, and documentation • Ensure compliance with HOA and local design guidelines REQUIREMENTS • 3+ years in residential exterior design or architecture • Experience on luxury/high-end residential projects • Strong portfolio of exterior design work • Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, Rhino, or Adobe Suite • Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple projects remotely NICE TO HAVE • Experience with custom builders such as Desert View Properties • Knowledge of South Florida or desert/arid-climate architecture • Background producing high-end photorealistic visualizations ENGAGEMENT DETAILS • Type: Independent Contractor • Location: Remote — Colombia
