Field Installation & Service Technician

Summary We are looking for a technical, energetic and self-reliant Field Service Technician to service and manage its Latin America accounts. This is a key role assuming primary responsibility for regional customer relations, field installations and training, and equipment optimization services. Our Technicians are the “Face of our company” to our customers. Essential Duties and Responsabilities Assist our commercial team in selling of the Company’s food processing equipment and services Plan, manage and perform mechanical and electrical assembly, installation and commissioning of equipment Lead mechanical and electrical subcontractors engaged and train customers to operate, maintain and optimize equipment performance Plan and perform trials to optimize equipment performance and demonstrate value & Provide warranty support by diagnosing failures, ordering parts and affecting repairs and replacements Provide insightful technical feedback to the Company’s Engineering and R&D departments to improve equipment performance and value GOOD to have but NOT required: Technical degree (electrical/mechanical/automation) Experience with the installation and programming of VFDs Experience with food processing equipment
