Safety Coordinator

The DOT Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting the company's safety and compliance operations by ensuring adherence to DOT and FMCSA regulations. This role serves as a key support function in maintaining accurate records, monitoring driver compliance, and assisting in safety-related processes to ensure the organization operates in a safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant manner. Main Activities: Monitor compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Maintain up-to-date driver and vehicle files and records. Monitor Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and Hours of Service (HOS). Review inspections, violations, and safety events. Support accident and incident investigations. Coordinate safety training and communication with drivers. Track regulatory documentation such as driver's licenses, medical certificates, and drug & alcohol testing programs. Prepare safety and compliance reports and performance indicators. Assist with internal and external audits. Promote safe driving practices across the organization. Requiroments: Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, Business Administration English 80% read, written and spoken / Advanced conversational English. More than 3 years in transportation and DOT compliance (preferred). Experience with transportation management systems and monitoring platforms. Knowledge on metrics and scorecards (daily/weekly/monthly basis.) Location: San Nicolas de los Garza
