Position Summary
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving business growth through the sale of technical products and solutions for the food industry. This role involves building strong customer relationships, managing commercial projects, and providing specialized technical support throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct customer visits and business development calls
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Manage and expand the customer portfolio
Follow up with domestic and international suppliers
Coordinate product orders and import activities
Monitor inventory, stock levels, batches, and FIFO processes
Prepare commercial and project-related reports
Maintain and update customer portals
Negotiate with contractors and customers for project execution
Coordinate third-party equipment installation and construction activities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Food, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Recent graduate with interest in technical sales, or previous experience in industrial/technical sales
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle
Availability for domestic and international travel
Knowledge of industrial processes, unit operations, and technical sales
Experience with ERP systems and sales follow-up
Knowledge of CAD software

What We Offer
Competitive salary:
MXN $15,000 – $30,000 gross per month
