Unix/Linux Platform Support Engineer

Recruiter: Cesar Peña Position: Unix/Linux Platform Support Engineer Job Location: Mexico City, Mexico Work Modality: On-site Industry – Sector: Banking / Financial Services Your Responsibilities: Respond to monitoring alerts and front-end/platform incidents. Execute recovery steps and coordinate with resolver groups as required. Maintain support evidence, handover notes, and operational documentation. Escalate complex or recurring issues for problem management and stability action. Required Knowledge and Experience: Red Hat / Ubuntu / CentOS administration. Unix/Linux troubleshooting and command-line support. Monitoring tool response and alert analysis. Basic networking concepts. Incident, change, and problem process awareness. English proficiency at Intermediate-Advanced (B2) level or higher. Skills: Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards. Results-oriented mindset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
